New toolbox: Facebook Privacy Toolbox

This toolbox is for Facebook users who:

Want a better understanding of what information Facebook makes public about them

May wish to continue using Facebook, but on their own terms and with greater control over their information

Need tools that go beyond the limitations of Facebook's privacy settings

There are several tools listed here, and some of them have overlapping capabilities. Here is the combination of tools that is working out well for me:

What I use:

Facebook Privacy List for Adblock Plus

Multifox

Facebook Privacy Scanner at ReclaimPrivacy.org

Facebook API Browser

Search Your Facebook Information on Google

Background Information

New Facebook privacy changes are a LOT worse than I thought

Are you removing Facebook fan pages from your profile to protect your privacy? Let page owners know!

If you'd like to recommend more tools for this toolbox, email me at kathryn@happysnowmantech.com.

P.S. If you like the icon for this toolbox, consider grabbing it from http://bit.ly/3vBg88 and making it your FB profile pic!
